Sudo.bio

An open-source IoT platform to plan and execute biological workflows and collect the associated equipment and metadata for better quality assurance and reproducibility of biological protocols.

Our digital lab twin captures every single data point along the way, making it easier to manage your lab, reproduce protocols, compare experiments and avoid unnecessary mistakes.

Our sensor platform not only monitors your lab but also detects early what issues along the way with the help of our real-time prediction analysis. The prediction analysis, combined with our IoT platform, helps to detect mistakes early enough to prevent protocol failure or to repeat the protocol early - to save money and time.

Plan a workflow

Everything starts with an idea and then a plan! Workflows can be designed on our integrated platform, which connects directly to equipment booking. It helps you to map out every step of your workflow.

Prepare

Once you've mapped out your protocol, our platform will automatically book any equipment you need in your labs. The inventory system and online store is integrated into the system, so you can pick up any fully validated consumables required.

Monitor

Nothing gets past our platform. Every piece of equipment is connected, which means you have complete oversight of what's happening with your protocol at every step.

Log into the cloud system at any time, from anywhere, view the dashboard and check in on the status of your incubator, the temperature of your fridge or the airflow. If anything does go wrong, you'll get alerted immediately.

Regulate

Our platform takes notes on everything - so if you're moving from a proof of concept to a trial or even a product, you'll automatically have all the quality and compliance checks you need for your regulatory bodies audit taken care of taken care of.

At the moment, a lot of work in a laboratory is still captured by writing notes on paper, and you need to use a wide variety of equipment and software that are unconnected.

When working on a new protocol and experiment, it is often hard to recall exactly what has been done. This makes it really hard to recreate protocols and sometimes impossible.

The scientist plays a crucial role in the lab and can't be removed from the lab. That is why we augment the biologist rather than automating the laboratory while still building the foundation to automate protocols at a later stage.

Our platform combines an open-source hardware component (gateway) designed to add additional sensors and connect every equipment in your lab. Our cloud-based operating platform allows users to plan and book their experiments while monitoring the entire lab.
We want to address the challenge of reproducibility in science by making each experiment and protocol traceable by connecting data to each experiment.
